ASM International is a society whose mission is to gather, process and
disseminate technical information. ASM fosters the understanding and
application of engineered materials and their research, design, reliable
manufacture, use and economic and social benefits.
The Dayton local chapter is made up of about 400 members and
serves the materials community of the Dayton area. Our local chapter holds monthly
dinner meetings (non-members welcome) with an invited technical speaker, facility tour, or special
presentation. Our chapter brings together
people from many different backgrounds and specialties expanding
our members intellectual and professional horizons as well as their
network of contacts with local universities,
businesses, industries, and government laboratories.
